Q&A with Katie

The title of this post only works if you say it out loud: "Q and A with Kay-tay." See how nice that rhymes? It's got a great little ring to it. Too bad my name's not Kay-tay. I digress...

It was recently suggested to me that I have an "Ask Katie" column, so I thought I'd find out who else has burning questions they'd like me to address. I'm open to answering just about anything. I can't think of anything that's off limits; I'm a pretty open book. You can ask how I organize my underwear drawer, how I breed such adorable children, why I'm so awesome, if I've always been this awesome, why I'm so full of myself, if I'd be open to you treating me to lunch...let your imagination run wild.

Leave a comment if you have a question and I'll do my best to answer it. (I'm not too smart, so don't ask me something I'll need to look up on Google.) If you've asked something in the past and I've responded to you personally, but you think others would benefit from the answer, feel free to ask again and I'll post the answer.

Go ahead. Fire away...

Ok, Kay-Tay, here's what I really want to know:

When you take a shower, do you face into the spray, or away from it?

When cooking, how often do you pick up food that you've dropped on the floor, check to see that nobody is looking, then put in back in the pan to continue cooking?

If a mime is walking in a forest and tree falls on him but nobody is around to hear it .... does anybody care?

Have you found back fat yet, and accepted it into your life?

Do you ever eat food you know you shouldn't, and then dig halfway through the garbage can to find a safe place to hide the incriminating evidence so nobody knows you've done it? (yeah, me neither)

Do you ever laugh so hard that a fart escapes? (also me neither)

Come on, Kay-Tay. Inquiring minds want to know!

:-)

How do you settle arguments with Mike? What are the rules for a "fair fight" in your marriage?

have you ever backed out of a commitment? how did you do that? i ask, because sometimes we get ourselves in over our heads before we realize it, and before you know it, we have way too much going on to do it all, and then have to start saying no or even 'cancelling' some obligations. I'm teaching 2 classes at church and work full time and and and, the list goes on...and i'm feeling overwhelmed...it all happened so fast :)

Hello Kay-Tay, very funny!!

What is your faveorite, color, tv show, flower, food, vacation spot, time of day, scrapbook supply, fave room in your house, season, holiday. Which child do you let off the hook most? Does your family eat at least one veggie a day or more? How did you pick out the kids names? How often do you clean behind the funiture and the fridge? Do you forget foods in the back of the fridge till old and moldy? What's your most oldest memory of you as a child? When is your birthday? These were just some off the top of my head. Thanks for giving us a chance to ask you anything, I love doing these. My kids & I make up sheets with q/a for each other all the time. I just did one today before I read yours. Hope to see some answers soon. I love your blog by the way with all the tips, menues, ideas, etc.

How did you and Mike meet? Tell us your love story.

Have you ever had to deal with jealousy in your marriage?

On days when you just don't feel like being intentional anymore, what do you do?

How often do you have those days?

What's your favorite thing to do on a rainy day? What about before children?
