It's 11pm and I can't sleep. I could do a miriad of things, productive things, relaxing things, but instead I'm on the computer, surrounded by piles of things that could should be put away, but I'm doing a bunch of nothing.
Wanna know what I just spent the last half hour doing? Reverse stalking some of YOU. I looked over at my list of followers on my sidebar and realized the number has jumped since I last noticed. I clicked on some of your pretty little faces and read some of your witty posts and left quietly without leaving a comment, just like you! It's a shock, I realize, but I can keep my big mouth to myself sometimes...
I even ran across a Latina follower whose blog is all in Espanol. Can I tell you how awesome I felt to understand at LEAST 30% of it? Maybe more. Not bad, considering I took six years of Spanish from 8th grade all the way through college. What a waste of perfectly good tax dollars! So whoever you are, your blog looks amazing. Cooking and organizing in Spanish...it doesn't get much cooler than that.
When my blog began reaching random little corners of the world, I would peek at the FeedJit list on the sidebar and wonder who was reading my thoughts. My best friend labeled me a reverse stalker when I asked if I should be concerned that people from random towns in remote parts of the world were returning to my blog regularly. I still wonder if there are creepy old men peering at pictures of my kids, but it appears most of you are fellow wives and mothers who just like reading about my ideas.
And I am humbled.

In the early days of our blogs, Kimba and I used to kid around and say that I was actually an old, balding man in Idaho. :D
I've sorely neglected my blog, as well. But I'm ready for the giveaway! *wink*
I found your blog a few weeks back and have been reading tons of back posts in the last few weeks. Not a stalker, just a mom who is inspired and entertained by the goings-on of your family.:) Thanks for the great, Christ-centered blog.
You know I read your blog frequently! I just love it!! Looks like you are enjoying your summer.
I have been reading your blog regularly for well over a year. I love your real life approach to your blog, parenting ideas and recipes - just had your pine nut orzo salad for lunch today - really! I don't comment much. Not a crazy stalker, just a mom of 3 like yourself in the Pacific Northwest.
hey girlie-
not sure how i even came across your blog but have been reading fairly regularly...i'm just a mom of 3 (same ages as yours), you do a great job of summing things up as i am going through a lot of the same things, well except the arizona heat....i am a gal from ND;) have a great summer.
I've been reading your blog for a while now. I think I got here from another frugal living blog; I think you may have had a guest post on one or another blogger recommended your blog...anyway, I'm not a weirdo or crazy stalker, I promise!
While our lives could not be more different (I'm a single 20-something who is much more excited to be an aunt than I am to have kids of my own, at least for now) I'm entertained by your blog and have been reading it for so long it's hard to imagine going without it. :) Heck, if I do have kids of my own one day, I might just follow some of your parenting advice :) I love how you always try to keep it real and share struggles, along with the good!
Can I saw how freakishly awesome it is that you were reverse stalking me?! I have been reading your blog for about 1.5 years, and I do post some :) I can relate to so much of what you post about because our kids are so close in age. And yes, I LOVE this age. I love love love babies!
Hi Katie,
How funny to read this post. I've read your post since we started on Jessica's Project life Tuesday. I love all your ideas and your honesty that you put into your blog. I love reading them but don't always comment because it takes even more time. I also love seeing your kids pictures they are cuties. I am a mom just like you to four kids and am not a stalker just love your posts. Have a great week.
