Today's assignment for the Spring Cleaning Challenge is to sort through the kids' closets. I have a tendency to use my kids' closets as storage; mostly baby stuff and bins of clothes...their closets are both huge, so I figure I should utilize the space.
I am blessed with friends who give me hand-me-downs for Kaylin, so in her closet, there are bins of clothes for sizes that she hasn't yet grown into. I also have paper grocery sacks (labeled with sizes) to throw clothes in as I get them. This keeps me from avoiding pulling down the bins and keeping each size sorted together.

| For hand-me-downs, I keep two bins for each size clothes: one for warm months and one for colder months. |
Just the other day, I was at Good Will looking for wooden crates, and stumbled upon the cutest, like-new, size 8 dress from Limited, Too for $4. I totally bought it and stuck it in the size 8 bag! Yes, Kaylin currently wears size 5, but when you find a deal, you have to jump on it!

| You never know what you're going to find when you open cabinets and drawers in Ryan's room. This was in the {somewhat useless} shelving system in Ryan's closet. |
This assignment took me three days to complete. Not because it was difficult, but because Jason was always asleep in Ryan's room when I had time to work. I finally just got busy one day while Jason was awake and allowed him to tear apart every other room upstairs. (*sigh*) Sometimes progress in one area means chaos everywhere else.
