Every Saturday for the rest of the summer, I will post about an awesome business that is giving away one of their products or services to one (or more!) of my lucky readers. Contests will run for six days and the winners for the previous weeks' contests will be announced each Friday. Winners will have 48 hours to contact me before a new winner is chosen. Enough about that: back to ME.
I honestly can't believe I've written 1000 posts. I knew I had a lot to say, but wow. That's almost one post per day! I'm rarely short on words, that's for sure.
In my first post (that was read by about 10 people), Kaylin was 8 months old...practically Jason's age. I began my blog as a way to update family and friends about the kids and their accomplishments. I barely knew what a blog WAS back then! In three short years, my online journal, "Three Blondes and a Redhead," blossomed into the parenting / cooking / organizing / crafting / all things frugal / homemaking soapbox that "Intentionally Katie" is today.
Do you know what I would REALLY love from you? To know who you are. There are hundreds of you out there reading my blog and I'd love to "meet" you. Especially those of you hiding in the shadows. If you've never commented before, please take a minute to say, "Hi!"
I guess this is my opportunity to say, "thank you" to all of my wonderful readers. I am still amazed that so many of you choose to spend your precious time reading my long-winded posts.

CONGRATULATIONS KATIE!!! I am a little new here but have posted before. I read your blog everyday even if I don't comment. I love all your ideas, receipes, stories, crafts, everything. That is so cool to have 1000 posts. How do you keep track of that, I might want to start doing that on my blog. Thank you for doing cool giveaways that's so sweet of you. I thought I should respond to the request to know your readers- I'm a frequent reader but rarely comment, and then I comment anonymously because I don't have a blog. Sometimes I leave comments that relate to being a teacher or about your 101 in 1001 lists.
Sooo- I've been married three years to a guy I'm madly in love with, I teach a preschool-age class for children with special needs, we'd like to have kids in a few years, and I am always trying to figure out how to help our home run smoothly. I love your blog because it inspires me to be more efficient and find great ways to help out our budget, but it also feels very "happy", very fun, very focused on the stuff in the day that really matters. I love your stories and pictures of your kids- they are so sweet! It really brightens my day to read your posts! Thank you for all that you put into the blog- I love it :)
