Blueberry Pie with Graham Cracker Crust

I can't believe I haven't posted this recipe until now! I'll add a picture after I make it next week - it won't photograph well, though, I can promise you that.

This is the BEST Blueberry Pie ever. It tastes like a gooey blueberry muffin. You can make it with any kind of berry (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries) but I've tried it with all of them and blueberry is by far my favorite.

RECIPE:

2 pints fresh blueberries (you can also use 1 package of frozen blueberries)
1 Pre-made graham cracker crust

Combine:
1 ½ c. sugar
1/3 c. flour
8-10 oz. evaporated milk
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
Mix all of the above together until consistency is like pancake batter, not too runny. Pour blueberries into the crust, then this batter over the blueberries.

Topping:
½ cup sugar
½ cup flour
4-5 Tbsp butter

Mix in bowl, take fork & press together. Crumble topping mixture over entire pie and bake at 350 for 1 hour until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving. This is amazing with ice cream, whipped cream, or all by its lonesome.

If berry pies aren't one of the greatest things about summer, I don't know what is!

Here's one for my "must-try" list as we love blueberry pie but have not tried making one like this. Thanks!

wow! My first time here and I find this recipe!!
We have a small blueberry farm, so I'm especially excited that this recipe can be made with frozen berries, since that's all we have left! :-)
I LOVE a graham cracker crust, so this is a "must-make", maybe even tomorrow!! Thanks!

Well, I made it and it WAS the BEST pie EVER!
I used cinnamon graham crackers to make the crust and added a little oatmeal to the topping (just 'cuz I love oatmeal!) and man, was it good! I say, "was" because it is GONE!!! A little cool whip and we were set.
Of course, everyone asked where i got the recipe, so you'll probably have some new visitors!
Thanks for posting this on lifeasmom.com - otherwise we would've missed out on a true winner recipe!
