Just a little reminder that the next couple of days might be a little stressful/overwhelming/exhausting, depending on where you're dragging your family or who is coming to your home. The kids will have too much sugar, get too little sleep...they might be ungrateful for a hand-knit sweater from Great Aunt Edna...or have a meltdown in the middle of the Christmas Eve service at church...relatives will undermine your authority...expect it all. The good, the bad and the ugly. Prepare to have some (or all) of your expectations for "the perfect Christmas" to be unmet.
Then decide to choose JOY.
You can absolutely choose to be filled with joy instead of any other negative emotion that creeps in. Set the tone for your home as one that is relaxed and peaceful.
And let the fun begin. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
