Shopping the Post-Holiday Sales

With Easter behind us, now is the perfect time to shop for next year's Easter baskets, crafts and decorations. The only thing you shouldn't buy ahead is the candy. Stock up on things like Easter books, puzzles, plastic shrink wrap, egg-shaped sidewalk chalk, plastic eggs and grass. Many items are reusable from year to year - even games and toys if your kids are too little to remember what they got in their baskets last year.

I hit the 50% off sale today at Target and found a few good deals. Even the $1 bins were half off! Not to mention that I stumbled upon some clearance shoes on sale for the kids.

Don't save the post-holiday sales for Christmas...keep your eyes open after every holiday and shop ahead for next year!
