This may be obvious, but just in case this is a new idea to someone out there, I have to share.
.
Whenever we go on vacation, I bring a bag for dirty clothes. All dirty clothes go into the bag and the bag is dropped off in the laundry room before the rest of the luggage is brought upstairs.
.
For longer trips, I'll even do two bags: one for light clothes, one for darks. It's so much easier to unpack knowing that everything NOT in a dirty clothes bag is clean and ready to be put away.
.
If you forget to bring bags, most hotels have dry cleaning bags in the closet that you can use.
.
Like I said, most of you may do this already, but it took me lots of trips in college to figure this one out!!!

Tuesday's Time Saving {Vacation Laundry} Tips

Katie, when we go on vacation for more than a week (usually to visit family) we do laundry the night before coming home. Which means, the only dirty things we bring back are pajamas for each of us and what we wore traveling home.
Virtually no laundry at all, just put the folded clean clothes back in the drawers straight from the luggage!
So I've been known to find a laundromat and wash when we weren't with family, since it seems I can't ever leave the house with all the laundry done before we leave!
I am a fan of the dirty clothes bag on vacation. Such a time saver.
Nice site. Please visit my site, too.
