Chocolate Chip Cake Mix Cookies

These are a quick, easy cookie to make and a huge crowd pleaser. Cake mix is usually pretty cheap, so if you keep it in the pantry like I do, you can whip these up for last minute get togethers. Mike and 7 of his friends are taking 14 kids camping tomorrow night, and since none of them care about fancy (or even healthy) food, cake mix cookies it is!

1 package Devil's Food cake mix (any brand)
1/2 cup canola or vegetable oil
2 T. water
2 eggs
1 cup chocolate chips (6 oz.)
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Combine cake mix, oil, water and eggs. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoon on an ungreased cookie sheet, 2-inches apart.

Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet 1 minute.
