RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF HER FOREHEAD!
Ryan came in from playing the backyard today with safety scissors in his hand. I asked what they were doing and he said, "I'm cutting the grass for Daddy. And Kaylin is cutting her hair."
Truth is, they were both doing BOTH. Hair in the back is cut, too, just not this short. No punishments were given since I've never specifically told them, "No cutting hair," but needless to say, they now need supervision to use scissors.

Oh no! I can just picture your face when you saw Kaylin. We work so hard to get their hair grown out nice and pretty and then they cut it, while messing it all up! LOL. Hopefully a trip to get Kaylin's hair trimmed up will do the trick.
When I was little I cut my hair and my brother's. This seems to be a pretty common mishap with munchkins. One I am sure we will encounter too. But if there was a way to skimp out on this one, I'd sure go that route! ; )
Her expression is priceless! I think she got the idea that it's a big no-no from here on out. :)
One time I was so tired of my widdow's peak that I literally shaved it off... in the 7th grade. Imagine how lovely I looked as it grew back, at a 90' angle from my forehead. Yup, learned my lesson on that one. :-) I'm with Julie, I think she totally gets it.

Am I the only one here who doesn't think it looks that bad? Or maybe I'm just used to seeing girls over here having the same sort of long-layered styles as their moms.
I totally agree with the lesson about not cutting hair, but I don't think Kaylin's natural goods looks have suffered in any way. Stylish girl!
